Reading is one of my passions. I have read so many great books over the years about women’s health issues, diet and exercise. Lately of course I have been reading books about menopausal syndrome or menopause issues. I will be sharing my reviews over the course of several posts featuring different books.
One of my favorite book series is by Tosca Reno. This lady is AMAZING! I have purchased all her books and have read them all. Her personal journey to fitness will inspire you. Tosca herself is a middle aged woman and she did not achieve optimum health, wellness and fitness until her middle age years. She leads by example on how to transform the body for women of all ages, but she pinpoints that it is never too late for women in middle age and beyond to reach their true fitness and health potential.
Again, I highly recommend purchasing all or just a few of her books. Her series includes her basic diet and eating plan, with several updated versions. She has several cookbooks with various themes as well as exercise books. She even has special editions for men and children. Tosca will teach you all about “clean eating” and how to maximize your life.
I am going to do a separate post on several of her books that are my favorites. I want to highlight certain features and why I recommend each specific book. The Eat Clean Diet is Tosca’s premiere book of her series. Even though it is several years old and she has since published updated books outlining her plan and reiterating most of the contents of this book, I still suggest purchasing this original version. I make this suggestion because I found that this book was so well written and the information it contains is condensed and organized in such an easy to read, easy to follow fashion. Her subsequent books are also great, but for the beginner reader that is new to her plan, this book is more simplistic. I also preferred the recipes contained in this book to be my favorites over the recipes in her other books. Happy reading!
